Android’s co-founder, Andy Rubin’s upcoming bezel-less smartphone teased

In past months it was reported that Android’s co-founder, Andy Rubin was working on a high-end smartphone. Today Rubin himself teased the smartphone via a photograph that he shared on twitter.

A year back Rubin left Google and started his own company called Essential Products. Company will make high-end smartphone and home products and these are supposed to be out in the middle of this year. The photograph below is first look of the upcoming beast.Andy Rubin's smartphone

As you can see the upcoming smartphone has a bezel-less design, looks much like the Mi-mix. There is also a speaker cutout for the front speaker and what probably looks like a power button is also present on the right side of the phone. The phone will run android and reports that it will have 5.5 or larger display, which will be pressure sensitive. Phone is also tipped to to have a modular system courtesy of a proprietary magnetic connector. Rest of the specs are still mystery to us.
